According to Mom...
In the chronicles or NADIA, the lion, the witch and the CABINET, the 3 children fell into the wardrobe like Alice in the wonderland...

Note from the editor
Pandora Files has indeed come a long way. Started roughly 2 years ago, we followed the life of a certain JC LIM as he grew up from boy to man. We roughed it out just so we could bring our readers the exclusive stories of this extraordinary young man.
As part of its efforts to increase its readership, Pandora Files will now embark on a new chapter. Its still the same person, but with more drama, more insights and as always, exclusive interviews of the man himself. These 5 part monthly interviews will give the readers insights to JC's life after army, the experiences and if possible, photo updates. This series will also feature short clips on the everyday happenings of JC that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.
Let's give it our all for
JC LIM
Cheers,
Pandora Files Editor-in-chief

Moving on, Missing it, not Regretting leaving it.
Another chapter of my life came to a close last Friday. I ORDed on 061109, leaving behind dusty Sungei Gedong Camp, the L2A4s and memories of the times spent there. It will not be the last time I will be walking through the gates though, reservist beckons. For the time being, I enjoy my status as a NSmen.
While I have no regrets leaving the force, I do miss the time I spent there, slogging away waiting for the 'day' to arrive. I miss the office, the activities that went on inside and the people 'gey siaoing' in front of their computers, hard at work on 'Swords and Sandles'. The bonds that we commanders have built since the LCC days are something I hold close to my heart. They are truly a bunch of people who are, although exasperating to work with at times, a delight to be around.
It is an experience that will be hard to forget.

The Serenity Prayer
Give me
The courage to change what I can change
The serenity to accept what I cannot change and
The knowledge to know the difference
The courage to change what I can change
The serenity to accept what I cannot change and
The knowledge to know the difference

Calendar of events
I had to go home myself from camp on Friday because my camp mate who usually gives me a ride had a duty on Saturday. The ride took almost 2hrs and I was looking through the calendar on my phone.
A couple of things came to mind. Weeks to ORD, obviously. 24 more book outs/170 days. Live firing dates. 29th June though I can't say why. Weekends spent with my extended family and the one coming up, my long weekend next week. I'll be taking off next Thursday to watch the champs league finals. WOO!!
Lots of things to look forward to I guess...

An Irish Blessing
May love and laughter
light your days
and warm your heart
and home.
May good and faithful
friends be yours
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty
bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's
passing seasons
bring the best
to you and yours.
light your days
and warm your heart
and home.
May good and faithful
friends be yours
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty
bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's
passing seasons
bring the best
to you and yours.

This kind of sucks...
Jonathan, what I'm doing now sucks. I think you know what I mean cause I saw you that day. Rafting was really fun by the way.
Anyway, I feel like there's a time bomb ticking away, that my phone will ring any time now and off I go. I don't mind the inconvenience but that fact is, it's inconveniencing my mom and dad too. They want to go out but they want to fetch me back too. They ask if it's going to happen today and I really don't know.
Hope you don't have to do it.
